Health Screening FAQ

🔹 Fasting is recommended for better accuracy.

• Due to advancements in lab technology, our health screening can be done fasting or non-fasting.

• Fasting is preferred for more accurate glucose and cholesterol results.

• If you are not able to fast, the health screening can still proceed.

🔹 Fasting Guidelines:

• Duration: At least 8-10 hours before your appointment.

• Allowed: Plain water

• Not Allowed: No food, coffee, tea, milk, or sugary drinks.

🔹 Medications During Fasting:

• Diabetes medications: Do not take while fasting to avoid low blood sugar.

• Blood pressure or other chronic medications: Take as usual, unless instructed specifically by doctor

The whole health screening process is estimated to take around half an hour.

Here’s what to expect during your health screening visit:

1️⃣ Arrival & Registration

• Upon arrival at the clinic, proceed to the registration counter to check in for your health screening.

• Our staff will confirm your appointment details and provide any necessary instructions.

2️⃣ Submission of Urine/Stool Samples (if applicable)

• If a urine or stool sample is required, submit the properly collected and packaged sample at the counter.

3️⃣ Measurements – Blood Pressure, Height, Weight

• Our staff will measure and record your blood pressure, height, and weight.

• These measurements are used to assess BMI (Body Mass Index)

4️⃣ ECG (if included in your package)

• If your selected package includes an electrocardiogram (ECG), it will be performed next.

• The ECG is a painless, non-invasive test to assess heart rhythm and detect any abnormalities.

5️⃣ Review with the Doctor & Blood Test

• The doctor will review your medical history and health screening details.

• A blood test will be conducted for you.

6️⃣ End of Health Screening – Time to Eat & Drink! 🎉

• Congratulations! 🎊 Your health screening is now complete.

• If you were fasting, you can finally eat and drink! 🥪☕

• Consultation charges apply only if a medical consultation for an illness or symptom is conducted during the visit. If the discussion is limited to the health screening, no consultation charges will be incurred.

• Health screenings focus on preventive care and routine tests.

• Medical consultations for illnesses or symptoms involve additional assessment, diagnosis, and management, which are separate from the screening package and therefore subjected to consultation charges.

🔹 Results Turnaround Time

• Green D Package: Due to more tests, results will take around 1 week from submission of all samples.

• Other Packages: Results will be ready in about 3 working days after submission of all samples.

• We will inform you via WhatsApp once your results are ready.

• And you may walk in or schedule an appointment to review your results with our doctors.
