About Greenhealth​

Greenhealth was founded by Dr. Poon and Dr. Hong, two doctors who grew up in the HDB heartlands of Singapore, back when the family GP was part of everyday life.​

​

In those days, a GP wasn’t just someone you saw when you were unwell. They cared for generations within a family, from grandparents to the youngest child. The doctor knew your name, your story, and often even what was going on at home. You didn’t have to say much. They simply understood.

 

Over time, that kind of familiarity became rare. Many clinics today are part of large corporate chains. Doctors rotate. Patients come and go. While the system has become more efficient, it has also become less personal.

 

Greenhealth was created with the hope of bringing back that spirit of relationship-based personal medical care.

 

We believe that good medicine begins with knowing our patients well. It’s not just about treating illness. It’s about listening, understanding, and being there for every stage of life.

 

At Greenhealth, you’re not just another patient. You’re someone we aim to know, remember, and care for over time.

A Note from Dr. Poon and Dr. Hong

We started Greenhealth because we missed the kind of clinic we used to visit as children. The kind where the doctor really knew your family, and where each visit felt like meeting someone who genuinely cared.

​

Both of us have worked in many different settings across Singapore’s healthcare system. While medical care has advanced in many ways, we felt that something important had been lost —the personal relationship between doctor and patient.

 

Greenhealth is our small way of bringing that back.

​

We hope to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and cared for. Not just medically, but as a person.
